1967 CHEVROLET CORVETTE, KING RAY
This is possibly the finest 1967 Vette Rod in the country, The eleven month step by step construction was covered in 7 feature articles in Corvette Enthusiast Magazine with it being unvieled at the magazines exhibit during Corvettes of Carlisle in August of 2006. This Corvette offers everything that you could possibly want in the ultimate midyear Corvette, the flawless show quality restoration along with the unbelievable horsepower and torque of the 572 cubic inch GM Performance crate engine. To retain the true nostalgic concept, the stock body and interior have been meticulously restored to better than original including the original factory A/C being updated to 134A. While the powder coated frame and running gear has been modified to the highest performance standards of today. The 620 horsepower 572 cubic inch big block engine even has a 427/435hp style Tri-Power intake system with factory style side pipes, and remaines extremely docile while running on pump gas! To handle this unreal power the transmission has been replaced with a 5 speed manual which transmits to a blue printed 3.70 rear end, with specialty built race car quality carbon fiber half shafts. While the suspension has been updated to a complete coil over adjustable system with Jim Meyer Racing tubular control arms and offset trailing arms for additional tire clearance, the competition SSBC Force 10 disc brakes brings this beast to safe stops. Stk #N/A COMING SOON!
