1960 LINCOLN CONTINENTAL MK V, 1960 Lincoln Continental Mark V Convertible in stunning Marimba Red with a white convertible top, Gold & Yellow leather interior, rear fender skirts, and Coker Classic whitewall radial tires. ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL, FULLY RESTORED, 42,709 ACTUAL MILE CAR!! THESE ARE THE LARGEST PRODUCTION CARS EVER MADE IN AMERICA AND THIS ONE IS SPECTACULAR!! The original 430 cubic inch 315 horsepower engine is 100 factory stock and still fitted with the original Carter carburetor, original intake manifold, original exhaust manifolds, and original air cleaner assembly. Fires right up and settles into a quiet idle with no mechanical noise. Runs perfectly on pump gas and there are no mechanical issues no smoke, no leaks, no noises. A member of the Lincoln Club told me that these engines sound like they have leather bearings and I must agree they are so quiet that you think they are not running. Pulls smoothly through the rev range, the Turbo-Drive three speed automatic transmission shifts perfectly, and the long 2.78 rear gears allow relaxed highway cruising. Power steering and huge power brakes for safe easy driving. Gorgeous two tone leather interior in correct Light Yellow and Gold and professionally reupholstered using the highest quality premium leather stitched in the correct patterns. The deep pile carpets are still factory original from 1960 and are like new with no wear and no damage. No wear on the original pedals, no wear (and no cracks) in the original two-tone steering wheel, no wear on the original knobs and controls. Original leather inner door panels in lovely condition. Power windows and power vent windows all operate quickly and smoothly when you push the buttons. Power 6-way seat, works perfectly. Factory Town & Country tube radio plays beautifully and the factory power antenna goes up and down when you push and pull the volume knob. All of the lights work correctly, all of the gauges work correctly, the vacuum windshield wipers work properly, the horn, the turn signals, the blower motor, etc all work as they should. The power convertible top mechanism has been rebuild and all of the solenoids and motors rebuilt by Lincoln Land in Clearwater, Florida then a brand new white convertible top was professionally installed. Factory Mark IV air conditioning complete and all connected but I do not know how it works. Remote driver's mirror. Incredible body laser straight and with no dents, no dings, no waves. All panels are factory original and there is no history of rust or collision damage. Show-quality paint in stunning Marimba Red done in acrylic urethane and then block sanded and buffed to a smooth glossy finish (and this car is stunning in bright red with a white top and yellow & gold interior!!). Rechromed bumpers front & rear, rechromed side strakes, and all brightwork has been professionally polished. Excellent front grill and rear tail panel.
