1956 LINCOLN CONTINENTAL MK II, 1956 Lincoln Continental Mark II This vehicle is a fine example of the very rare 1956 Lincoln Continental Mark II. It has undergone restoration over the past 2 years, having been stored for the previous 11 years. The 365 cubic inch V-8 engine was completely overhauled this last year. The transmission also underwent an overhaul two years ago. All the major components on the vehicle have been overhauled, including the brake master cylinder/brake boost, brake drums, water pump, power steering pump, blower motors, carburetor, fuel pump etc? The vehicle has original factory air conditioning, power windows, power brakes, power seat, and power steering. The vehicle has a brand new replica battery. The exhaust manifolds are porcelain coated (to remain rust free for a lifetime). The vehicle is painted with Sherwin Williams Ultra 7000 basecoat/clear-coat paint system, in a deep red metallic burgundy. It retains the original Continental Mark II hubcaps on steel wheels wrapped with wide white wall radial tires. The interior has been completely re-upholstered in cream with beautiful burgundy carpeting to compliment the shiny new exterior. This car always turns heads any where it drives, as it is the very essence of American luxury from 1956.
