1957 CHEVROLET BEL AIR, While originally devised as a means for competing with Ford in the mid-50s, the Chevrolet Bel Air quickly gained a life of its own, and for no year so greatly as 1957. A classic among classics, this frame off restored Bel Air is finished in Onyx Black with red and silver interior and black top and continental kit. It is a superb example of this increasingly rare, increasingly expensive automobile. With 283 V8 PowerPac, power steering, padded dash, power brakes, power top, power windows, power seat, fender skirts, 3 speed manual with overdrive, radio, and full restoration, this is among the very finest 57 Bel Air convertibles available at this or any time! The car has all original panels and glass with the exception of the hood which was replaced during the restoration. All parts are genuine 1957 Chevy Bel Air parts with the exception of the generator.
