2003 BMW M3, The Ultimate Driving Machine!! BMW's legendary M3. 330 HP; SMG transmission; 19" factory wheel upgrade; Harmon/Kardon Sound; Parking Sensors. Rear tires have less than 7,000 miles, the front tires are only a month old. There is also a permanently installed Passport Radar Detector in the dash storage compartment. We own three cars (all BMW's) and have decided that the two of us only really need two cars. I am the second (non-smoking) owner of this vehicle, and purchased it from the local BMW dealership as a Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle. I have not had to perform any maintenance on the vehicle in the year-and-a-half that I have owned it (about 7,000 miles ago), other than to replace the tires. This is a fast ride. The interior is comfortable, and the climate control works very well. I have added a direct iPod connection to the stereo system, which can be removed if desired. The car has an SMG transmission. This transmission uses BMW Formula 1 technology to provide an electronically controlled automatic shift function to a 6 speed gearbox. The controls allow for fully automatic shifting, or can be configured to let you use either the console shift lever or the wheel mounted paddle shifters to work your way through the gears. I am a wheelchair user and need this type of transmission in my cars. It works flawlessly, and probably can shift faster than most anyone other than a professional driver. I had hand controls installed, but they can be removed very easily. If you are looking for a safe, reliable performance automobile, this should be your choice.
