1989 BENTLEY TURBO R, Here is the Bentley Turbo R, the successor to the Mulsanne Turbo. The Turbo R received the same engine as the Mulsanne, however it had a retuned Bosch MK-Motronic fuel injection for added torque. It also sported a retuned suspension and wider tires on alloy wheels, a first for a Bentley. Motor Trend called the Turbo R \"the first Bentley in decades deserving of the famous name\" in their review of the car on its introduction to the United States in 1989. Suspension was also transformed wth anti-roll bar rates increasing, tuned dampers and a Panhard rod added. Estimated power was 297 HP, 487 ft-lb torque. This particular car was owned by John Moore, owner of the San Diego Padres. An aftermarket Alpine stereo system was added. The interior is tan leather laced with blue piping and a beautiful walnut wood trim. A treat to behold, the Bentley Turbo R.
