1949 PACKARD STANDARD 8, 1949 Packard Eight 2dr sedan (fastback). One of Packard's most beautiful body styles of this era. This Packard ivory colored coupe has received a way-beyond spectacular frame-up restoration costing many times the sale price here. The 288 ci./135 horsepower, Straight Eight Flathead engine runs beautifully as does the manual transmission with overdrive. The Packard ivory paint is excellent as is the brown leather interior including the wood-grained dash which is spectacular! The car is accented by wide white wall tires and correct factory fender skirts. This Packard was frame up restored to Packard standards and you know what a fine car maker Packard was known to be....."Just ask the man who owns one." Maybe that should be you..
