1951 MERCURY 2D SEDAN, Body: Top has been chopped with a slope of 3 1/2 inches tooth front and 5 inches in the rear, there are canted b pillars with a 50 mercury rear window, the body has been sectioned 3 5/16 inches, the body line has been extended to the rear of the car with the dog legs removed from the door, the front sheet metal includes 56 pontiac bumpers, a 54 chevy grill with 17 teeth, 59 chevy rear bumper turned grill extensions, the hodd has 244 louvers in it and includes rounded corners and hidden hinges. Hand made aluminum taillight frames fitting four cutdown siamese 54 merc lenses and rear wheel well openings that have been raised 2 1/2 inches. Drivetrain: 1994 Chevrolet Corvette motor that was went trough by Hurbet engine service in Wichata KS, a custom built freash air system with facoty mercury parts and K@N filter elememts to feed the EFI, the exhaust flows thorugh a set of sanderson headers and complete Borla exhaust system. A 700 R transmission was rebuilt from Massey trans and the car has a 9 inch with 355 gears and posi.... Chassis: Updated original chassis with fatman crossmember tubular control arms and MII spindles, 11 inch brakes, QA1 coil overs, Rack And pinnion steering, C notched frame dearched leaf springs with reverse eyes. Interior: Creme Leather, dakota dash, vintage Ac and heat, Nice stereo system, buckets front and rear, power windows.. Wheels and tires are Boyds 17 inch up front with 245/45/17 and 20x 8 on the rear with 245/45/20's She rides nice, handles like a slot car.
