1963 LINCOLN CONTINENTAL, 1963 LINCOLN CONTINENTAL CONVERTIBLE $39,995.00 1963 was the last year of the early original suicide door styled Continentals on the shorter 123 inch wheel base and to many the better looking of the Continentals made. Slight changes externally were made for the ?63 model year from the year previous year that included a different rear panel treatment and a revised grille. The dash was changed slightly to give additional knee room and a fraction of an inch added in overall length. Power is from the 430 cubic inch V8 originally rated at 320 horsepower. All Continentals came well equipped including 6-way power seat, power windows, and power top along with many other standard features. Optional and which this car has is air conditioning. The example we have here is what we would call a very nice driver with no major issues that we can see or know of. It has a near new paint job done to a nice standard and a very nice and also near new leather interior. The convertible top is also in good condition with not a lot of age to it. Mechanically the car performs well with good power and a nice feal to it. Finished in what arguably could be called the best colour combination available on a Continental, Tuxedo Black with Black interior and a Black convertible top.
