1965 BUICK RIVIERA, 1965 Buick Riviera GS ID# 494475H915181. The Best of the Best! This Outstanding Riviera Grand Sport is equipped with its original 425 cubic inch V-8 with Twin 4 Barrel Carter AFB carburetors, coupled with its original turbo 400 Super Turbine automatic transmission. All this with a positive traction rear axle and a special suspension and handling package resulted in the Riviera garnering the ?Top Performance Car of the Year? award in 1965. It comes equipped with power steering, power brakes, power windows, power driver?s seat, power antenna, power vent windows, remote mirror and am/fm radio. This vehicle has been shown at the Sloan Museum of Buick History (2003) Flint, Michigan, as well as the Meadow Brook Concours d'Elegance show of 2003, where it won Best Post War Buick. This beautiful example received a fully documented restoration by White Post Restorations, in White Post, Virginia. The restoration alone cost more than double our asking price.
