1971 PLYMOUTH ROAD RUNNER, 1971 Plymouth Roadrunner in Lemon Twist Yellow with a gold brocade deluxe interior, black Strobe Stripes, black hood stripes, black chin spoilers, black rear wing, and Magnum 500 wheels. MATCHING NUMBERS, VERY RARE EARLY 340 CAR (BUILD DATE 12/70) IN EXCELLENT CONDITION!! The matching numbers 340 engine has been upgraded with an Edelbrock intake manifold, Holley Dual Feed 650cfm carburetor, wild Mopar PurpleShaft cam, Hooker headers, and Mopar electronic ignition system. Fires right up and settles into a lopey idle with a deep aggressive exhaust note and that great sounding cam. There are no mechanical issues; no smoke, no leaks, no noises; runs nicely on premium pump gas, and the matching numbers VIN is still clearly visible on the block pad. LIGHTS 'EM UP WHEN YOU PUNCH IT, PULLS HARD THROUGH THE REV RANGE, AND A DEEP AGGRESSIVE EXHAUST NOTE LIKE A MOPAR SHOULD!! RUNS STRONGER THAN A 383 CAR AND HANDLES BETTER DUE TO THE LOWER WEIGHT OF THE 340. The matching numbers 727 Torqueflite shifts perfectly and the 3.91 SureGrip rearend provides strong acceleration and reasonable cruising. Power steering and big brakes for safe easy driving. Beautiful original brocade deluxe interior. Excellent original seats front and rear, excellent original carpets, excellent original door panels, excellent original headliner. Factory 150 mph speedometer and factory Rallye gauges for Oil Pressure and Water Temperature. Factory AM radio still in place. Factory air conditioning with all components in place. Factory Tuff steering wheel in excellent condition. Excellent dash with no cracks, no warping, and no sunfade on the instruments. High quality underdash AutoMeter gauges for water temp and oil pressure. Remote driver's side mirror. Super straight body with no dents, no dings, no waves. Factory perfect panel fit and no signs of body filler or panel replacement ever. Very nice Lemon Twist Yellow paint done in urethane base/clear. Excellent chrome bumpers front and rear. Excellent brightwork and stainless trim. Factory front chin spoilers and factory rear wing. Factory hood with the black inlets and 340 callouts. Factory Strobe Stripe across the roof and factory hood stripes across the fenders. Excellent glass and all windows operate smoothly. Factory Magnum 500 wheels with the polished trim rings and chrome center caps fitted with P215-70-14 Uniroyal raised-white-letter radials. Just professionally detailed, polished, hand waxed, and turnkey ready for cruises and shows. Runs and drives very well and definitely has the look.
