1985 MERCEDES BENZ 500SL, Mercedes 500SL -- Classic German Gray Market Import -- Must See! This unique model was never made in the United States! 8-cylinder engine provides plenty of pickup for a car this size. 161,600 miles. Excellent mechanical condition. Only two owners and babied by both, with a stack of paperwork to prove it. Why such a low price for a classic import? To be fair a few things need attention: The soft top needs repair (hard top is fine), cracked windscreen needs repair/replacement, some small scuffs on driver's side front hood (pics available), stereo w/ CD changer could use updating, power locks and alarm system need repair. Everything else (engine, transmission, tubes and seals, etc.) is in great shape - It just had a complete tune-up, new brakes, tires, seals, fluids, and more. Mechanically, it's a beautiful specimen!
