1963 FORD FAIRLANE 500, 1963 Ford Fairlane 500 2dr hardtop. If you can't afford a real K-code 271 hp 289 Fairlane or Comet, this is the next best thing. This is an all original 2dr hardtop that came with the Fairlane 221 ci V8. A previous owner put in a solid lift 289 ci V8 with correct style Ford 4-speed transmission. We've owned K-code Ford and this performs right with them, not sure how much horsepower this car is putting out but it is strong and most likely excedes 271. Includes headers, and new dual exhaust mufflers, bench seat, and correct era American Racing gray finish mags, which we like so much we are leaving them on. This car is just in. We plan some cosmetics for the car including front seat cover and some touch up on the original paint and redoing the rear bumper. Front seat needs recovered and in less than a couple weeks everything you see will be repaired or refurbished. This is a super solid car with minimum rust of any kind. Paint is original. If you would like to buy it before we do the work there is great savings. After it is done this super solid Fairlane will be a stunner and of course substantially more expensive.
