2000 BMW 740IL, I am the second owner of this car. I am an automobile enthusiast and have taken excellent care of this fine automobile. When I purchased the vehicle I joined the Seven Series Section of the BMW automobile club. I have followed a maintenance schecdule recomended by the president of that club in order to insure overall protection and long term use. I have retained copies of all service records. They will be available for inspection. This service schedule is well beyond the maintenance interval prescribed by BMW. I am selling the car because it is larger than my wife and I can justify driving on a daily basis. The gas mileage is 16.0 locally and 24.5 on highway. I keep a log book as gas is purchased. When it was new this vehicle cost $76K. In a comparison test against other high end vehicles done by Car and Driver Magazine it placed first. I have that article and I also have the two owners manuals and the VHS video tape which explains the wonderful electronic convenience items including navagation. I also have the original sales promotion literature. This vehicle does need any maintenance and if you examine the attached pictures I believe you will agree it is in showroom condition inside and close to that condition outside including the under carriage. The vehicle has not been driven in snow or icy conditions. I would expect that a serious buyer would have the vehicle inspected by one of the two BMW dealers in this area or else by Ken Zell German Automotive. Mr. Zell is a master BMW technician. I cannot finance this vehicle so a serious buyer will need to arrange for cash financing. I seriously believe that a driving enthusiast will appreciate this vehicle and the care that it has had. It is a wonderful combinaition of sporty performance as well as luxury. Serious inquiries only.
