Discovery SE 4X4, 4.0L V8, automatic, air, tilt, cruise, full power everything, dual power heated leather seats, front and rear power sunroofs, rear wiper/defoger, alloy rims, fog lamps, roof rack, am fm cd/cassette sound system, step bars, trailer tow package, security system, keyless entry, loaded. This truck carries a Michigan salvage flood title on it. I purchased it at the insurance auction as a flood truck. I had the truck towed to my mechanics shop to check it all out. He could not find water in anything. We even for the sake of doing it changed the transmission fluid, (again no water). I cannot see any evidence of water inside the truck as well. No musky smell, no rust on the seat tracks, or corrosion in the fuse panels etc. However there are a couple of issues. When you put the transmission selector into drive, there are indicator lights that flash, on the console, and instrument cluster. According to the owners manual there is a communication problem between the computer and the transmission. When you take off in drive it feels like the truck is in second or third gear. No lights flashing when in park, or reverse. Park and reverse work perfect. So there might be a bad connection somewhere. The only thing I noticed not working in the entire truck is the radio. It is completely dead, (again no evidence of any water damage). Even the external cd changer located under the passenger side front seat looks perfect, with no evidence of any water damage. The electronic controlled heat, air, power seats, heated seats, sunroofs, and everything else work. My mechanic does not have any diagnostic info on this truck, otherwise I would of probably resolved the couple of electrical issues, and retailed the truck. The overall condition of the truck inside and out is real nice. There is one small spot of the front side of the drivers front fender where something must of sploted on it and just started to eat into the paint. Other than a couple of minor paint chips, the paint and rest of the body is super nice. It looks like the truck is all original paint. The interior is mint, with no burns rips or tears anywhere. One small back up light lens on the rear bumper is broken. The truck runs perfect, no leaks, and is driveable. This truck new was probably well over the 40K mark. Here is your chance to own a nice clean low mileage loaded up Land Rover. I have an additional 37 pictures of this truck I can email upon request. All trades considered.
