1956 FORD THUNDERBIRD, Although the 1956 Thunderbird shared the same body as the 1955, there were a few significant changes which made the 1956 model very unique. Probably the most visible change was the outside location of the spare tire. Also, the 1956 Thunderbird included wind wings on the windshield, cowl vents on each fender and a different rear bumper configuration with the simplified exhausts routed out the ends of the bumper. This Tbird is restored in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition. Has a Port hole hardtop,Continental Kit, chrome engine dress-up kit and wire wheel covers. Only 15,631 Thunderbirds were produced in 1956. Just serviced and ready for shows or pleasure driving. Insurance: $390/yr.
